The Rotary Club of Augusta was organized and chartered by Rotary International in 1916. We are Club #6288, a member of Rotary District 7790, and made up of business professionals who live or work in the greater Augusta area.
Over the years we have conducted a myriad of projects, and in the past ten years we have raised and contributed over $250,000 in service to our local and global community.
We support the efforts of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International and in recent years we formed the Augusta Rotary Foundation as a local focus. A notable project is our Feed The Kids project, an effort to provide adequate supplemental nutrition to the school children of Augusta, which our club developed and implemented for many years before passing the program on to a local community group.
